Brandon Due
Brandon Sensei has been practicing Aikido since 2005, where he was first introduced to Aikido as part of an ’embodying knowledge’ course at Concordia College. He was drawn to the non-violent philosophy of Aikido and the meditative quality of the art. Brandon later trained at New England Aikikai in Boston, the former dojo of Kanai Sensei.
Brandon finds that practicing Aikido gives him insight into the choices that we make in every day life that are inclined toward or away from peace. In teaching he places extra emphasis on ukemi and the interchange of roles between ‘attacker’ and ‘receiver’. Brandon works in non-profit management and communication.
