Ray Young
Ray began training at Aikido of Minnesota in 2011. He brought is son to Aikido and after attending that first class, Ray was sold on the art form. As a veteran of the United States Army, Ray found Aikido to be the perfect balance – peaceful, harmonious and translating into great life skills.
Ray works as a senior talent acquisition and strategy consultant. Ray learned this quote from a friend and fellow Aikido instructor: “Aikido isn’t a defensive or offensive martial art – it proactively halts the enemy’s intention to attack.”
